Shepherd´s school

Artzain Eskola is one of the centers that have an agreement with ITSASMENDIKOI (IMK). It initiated his gait in 1997 with the aim to increase the degree of professionalism of the shepherd.

In this center there are offered courses of Intensive and Constant formation destined to future and current professionals of the sheep sector. A center with international vocation to which professionals come both of the CAPV and of other autonomies, as well as other countries from Europe and Latin America.

The Intensive course has duration of 900 hours, 6 months. We differentiate a theoretical phase with monographic cycles slice of the center, as well as a practical phase with an approximate stay of 16 weeks with professional shepherds which collaborate with Artzain Eskola.

The period of pre-inscription has been opened for the Sheep - Dairy course 2009/10 of Artzain Eskola. For it, it is necessary to complete the card of inscription and send for e-mail or postal with a letter of motivation of assistance to the course.

Once received the documentation, the Directionof the School will contact with the interested person.

The school has support of the associative sheep studding of CAPV, as well as of a few top facilities and a standard flock for the accomplishment of practices.

The future professionals of the sheep sector, have a Service of Monitoring to be able to create sheep exploitation, for which they will rely on the support of a monitor that will advise them in the whole process.
